x is called the pawn

the balance scale is equation
the = sign is the middle of the balance scale
the cube numbers are the constants
THE SCALE MUST STAY BALANCED AT ALL TIMES!
~the goal is to get the variable isolated
~what ever you do to one side you must do the opposite side
(this keeps things balanced)
